The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) was recognized in the 2025 Best Places to Work in Money Management awards announced today by Pensions & Investments.

APFC is proud to have received this honor for five consecutive years. Presented by Pensions & Investments, this is the 14th annual survey and recognition program dedicated to identifying the best employers in the money management industry.

For nearly 50 years, APFC has prioritized employee well-being, talent development, and preserving the legacy of achieving high returns for all generations of Alaskans. Shared values like integrity, stewardship, and passion are core not just to APFC’s mission, but how the organization treats all of its colleagues. APFC is one of the largest, most effective, and globally positioned sovereign wealth funds in the nation, due in large part to the organization’s deeply knowledgeable and dedicated staff.

“As their employees attest, the companies named to this year’s Best Places to Work list demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture,’’ said P&I Editor-in-Chief Julie Tatge. “In doing so, they’re helping their employees, clients and businesses succeed.’’

Pensions & Investments partnered with Workforce Research Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey of employers and their employees. Evaluation of a nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, accounted for approximately 20% of the total score. An employee survey to measure the employee experience was worth approximately 80%. The combined scores determined the top companies.
