Website Accessibility Policy

At APFC, we are committed to serving all Alaskans by providing a website accessible to the broadest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. This website has been developed to conform to the best practices and criteria defined in the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines establish standards of accessibility for information in a web page or web application, including information such as text, images, and sounds, as well as code or markup that defines the architecture and presentation of web and online content.

APFC adheres to the State of Alaska Web Accessibility Policy, complying with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) and using the latest version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level A and AA issues, maintained and published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for this purpose.

If you have trouble using our website, please contact the APFC Webmaster for help. We may be able to offer an alternate format or update our content to make it more accessible to you. Please let us know the URL (web address) of the material you tried to access, the problem you experienced and your contact information, including your name, email address and phone number.
