JUNEAU, Alaska – July 20, 2026 – The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation’s (APFC) Board of Trustees Governance Committee reviewed a proposed charter to establish a Benchmark Review Committee, an advisory body that would periodically evaluate the performance benchmarks identified in APFC’s Investment Policy and ensure they remain appropriate, transparent, and aligned with the Fund’s long-term objectives.
“Strong governance depends on clear standards for measuring investment performance,” said Ethan Schutt, Chair of the Governance Committee. “A consistent, transparent review process strengthens oversight and helps ensure those standards remain aligned with the Fund’s objectives. I commend staff and advisors for bringing this forward.”
