Deputy Chief Investment Officer (CIO) - Private Markets
Allen Waldrop is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Private Markets for APFC. In this role, Allen oversees the Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate programs at APFC.
Allen started his career with KPMG and has worked in a broad range of accounting, M&A, investment, and consulting roles across a number of investment and advisory firms. Allen holds a BS in Accounting from San Diego State University, is a CFA charter holder, and a CPA (inactive). He also served on the Board of the Sacramento Children’s Home from 2009 to 2025 and was a member of the El Dorado County Search and Rescue team from 2020 through 2024.
